Professional Referral Partners
Find informed, values-aligned professionals committed to supporting women+ and partners affected by birth-related trauma.
Parents affected by birth-related trauma may need support from a range of professionals throughout their recovery. Finding the right provider can be difficult, particularly when someone is already feeling vulnerable, overwhelmed or unsure where to begin.
Birth Trauma Australia’s Professional Referral Partner directory helps women+, families and communities identify organisations that have demonstrated a commitment to understanding birth-related trauma and improving the way they support people affected by it.
Professional Referral Partners complete required BTA’s education, agree to our partnership standards and participate in an annual review process. By working together, we aim to create clearer, safer and more informed referral pathways while strengthening professional capability across the broader support network.

Partnership levels and how the process works?

Tell us about your organisation, services, team and interest in becoming a Professional Referral Partner.
BTAreviews the organisation, service offering and proposed partnership for alignment with our mission, Code of Ethics, partnership standards and community.
The partnership is formalised through an annual agreement outlining responsibilities, recognition, approved brand use, referral arrangements and commitment to BTA’s Code of Ethics and partnership standards.
Once the agreement is in place and onboarding requirements are complete, the partner is recognised through the agreed website listing and partner assets.
Partner organisations undertake the relevant BTA education throughout the partnership term, completing modules progressively at a pace that suits their team while building knowledge and capability over time.
The partnership is reviewed each year to confirm continued alignment, education status and renewal.
